Yalujiang Crand Canyon is located on the south foot of Changbaishan Mountain. It is the only accessible to ascend Changbaishang Mountain from the south. The huge broken ditch was formed from the eruption of volcano and produced through the repeated rain wash of 300 years and wind erosion.

The natural landscape of the canyon was thus formed. The length of the canyon is 10 kilometers from north to south, the width is 200 meters from east to west and the depth is 170 meters. This place is also the source of Tianchi pond overflowing to Yalujinag River. In the valley, the green trees set off one another, the strange stone and high peak stands on both sides of the banks. They show different postures, which is broad and imposing.
