Song Qingling’s Former Residence covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters. The floor space is approximately 5,000 square meters. The residence was originally the mansion garden of Zai Feng (Prince Chunqin), father of the last emperor of China, Pu Yi (Emperor Aixin Jueluo). It is also known as the West Garden. The main construction was towards the west followed by a two storey building that combined and complemented the concept of China and the western concept.
