Zhenru Temple was built on the southwest of Yunju Mountain of Yongxiu County. It was built during the reign of Tang Xianzong Emperor in Yuanhe 3rd year. It is also known as "Longcang Buddha Hall" and "Yunju Buddha Hall temple". Song Zhenzong emperor wrote "Zhenru Buddha Hall ", where later it is commonly called Zhenru temple.

It went through several burn down and ordeal. Presently, the adytum, hall, building and pavilion was repaired after the liberation, including the Grand palace, Weituo palace, the cloud sea building, Xuhuai building, the clock and drum tower and the Buddhist scriptures pavilion and several other buildings.

It is a magnificent sight. There are more than 200 Bodhisattva in the hall where the golden light glitters. It is one of the famous Buddhist temples in the country and is also the biggest religious temple in Jiangxi Province.
