South China Botanic Garden is situated in Long Dong, the northeastern suburb of Guangzhou. It is the largest botanic gardens in lower sub tropics of China and was established in 1956. Plant groups which are the characteristic scenery in South China, such as palm garden, bamboo grove, orchids garden, cycads garden and shade plants garden greatly impressed tourists.
The walking section is from the front gate to the left, followed the path of Royston region. The temperature and moisture is high and tourists were moist with sweat as they walk but the shadow of palm trees alleviated the heat slightly.
